Dr. Alisa Reed subscribes to the philosophy that everyone should have a positive experience with dentistry and approaches each opportunity to transform a patient’s smile with that in mind.

As a doctor and business owner, she incorporates the idea of lagniappe “a little something extra” into every aspect of Dental Designs by Alisa Reed. Her practice philosophy centers around providing more — more comfort, more quality, more WOW — for The Woodlands dentistry patients.

A commitment to knowledge throughout her 25 years in the field extends well beyond her impressive educational background. After graduating cum laude from Louisiana Tech University, and earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University, Dr. Reed continued training in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency.

She attended the prestigious Dawson Center for Comprehensive Dental Studies and Dr. Reed’s additional continuing education includes seminars on dental implants, laser dentistry, porcelain veneers, DURAthins, Lumineers, and best practices for safety and sterilization.

Dr. Reed and her family -– a son at college and a daughter in high school -– have been part of The Woodlands community since 1997. When she’s not enjoying time with them and Dug, her Labradoodle, Dr. Reed travels, takes in live music, and tends to her garden.

I began dentistry as a dental tech for the US Navy in 1989. I attended hygiene school in Athens, GA in 2002 and have enjoyed my profession ever since, making great friends, adoring my patients, and providing great, healthy smiles. I’m married to a wonderful Texan man and have two great kids. My favorite daughter, Megan, is in the dental field as well and my favorite son, JJ, is a junior in high school. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping, and caring for my fur babies.

MaryBeth

Patient Coordinator

Marybeth has been working in the dental field for more than 25 years and joined Team Reed in 2015. Every day is a new day! She loves seeing fabulous results and happy patients.

When not in the office, Marybeth enjoys spending time with her family. She has been blessed to have found the perfect match for her soul, a son, a bonus daughter, and two beautiful and active grandbabies. She enjoys live music, photography, chasing sunsets, boating, gardening, hiking, and beach vacations.

Sandra, RDA

Registered Dental Assistant

After receiving her associate of science degree, Sandra joined our team in 2020. She is certified in CPR and administering nitrous oxide. Patients love Sandra’s smile and cheerful spirit. Sandra appreciates the opportunity to get to know her patients and build relationships with them. She is a member of the Dental Assisting National Board and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

Gina, RDA

Registered Dental Assistant

Gina has dedicated over 30 years to dentistry and trained at Oklahoma University and Lone Star College. She has always been passionate about dental care and building lasting patient relationships.

Alongside her husband of 26 years, she enjoys family life, sharing five grandchildren and two great-grandsons. They live in New Waverly, where they raise Wagyu cattle and sell beef. Gina also has a deep affection for animals, caring for her beloved Shi-tzu, hand-raised parrots, and rescuing wildlife.
